The two-year-old show was created by Franco Dragone, the man behind some of the most successful Cirque du Soleil shows, and has been sold out since its launch.
Cirque du Soleil (French for Circus of the Sun) was started by a couple of street performers in Quebec, and has since become an entertainment juggernaut. If you have seen a Cirque show, you already know it defies description. The group continually pushes the envelope on innovative entertainment and has created some of the best shows anywhere in the world.
Cirque, which ranks fourth on this weeks list, is now expanding beyond show routines, with an up-and-coming record label, retail stores and even a deal with a cruise line. Cant get to Sin City? Then its likely one of the companys six touring shows will hit your town, whether it is Athens, Minneapolis, or Sydney.
Still, the troupes home away from home is undoubtedly Vegas. Which brings us to the third show on our list, the newest Cirque production, ‘Ka.’ The $165 million martial arts themed production is currently running at the Las Vegas MGM Grand.
Ka brings together astonishing acrobatic performances, the thrills and action of martial arts from all over the world, plus astonishing innovations in puppetry.
