Free Shows in Vegas

Las Vegas is an expensive city to visit. With casinos, expensive shows, rides, restaurants and everything else that’s available it can get expensive real fast. So what self respecting Vegas visitor would ever pay full price if they didn’t have to? There are a lot of free events and places to visit and by visiting these a person can save quite a bit of money.

The first big thing I would recommend visiting is the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens offers a delight to the eyes of the beholder. All the senses are stimulated as you see the sights and inhale the fragrance of the flowers that are seasonal highlights of plants, flowers, and produce. Each season offers new delights to the senses and because there is NO admission fee we cannot recommend visiting this enough. It is also a great place for a photo op to help you remember your time in Las Vegas.

If you have seen Oceans 11 you know at the end of the movie they stand outside looking at a huge water fountain display. That amazing display is the fountains of Bellagio Casino. These shows consist of more than 1000 fountains that shoot water up in unison with music. Lights go off as well. They have variety of the songs really is endless so check by often. It is completely free so really do check back often. Just about every half hour or so after 3pm on weekdays and noon on weekends you can see this spectacle in person. I highly recommend it.

The next great freebie? How about a CIRCUS!??! Totally free, and great for the whole family, the Circus Acts show put on at Circus Circus is perfect. Different acts perform at each show that happen every half hour daily between 11 am and midnight. The thrills of a circus are a great way to spend an afternoon.

Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall, another casino in Vegas offers great a great free show as well. Theirs consists of lasers and water and is done daily at 2:00, 6:00, 8:00, and 10:00. The coolest part of the show is that it takes place in a 9-story building that has a mix natural habitat of live trees, greenery, waterfalls, and trails built throughout it.

The Carnivale is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Brazil and so of course Vegas has to have an equivalent. The Masquerade Show in the Sky, a free show put on where floats come by floating on the sky. The show is free to watch, But if you want to participate by riding one of the floats, the cost is 13 dollars. The floats are suspended from the ceiling and this is considered the best free show in Vegas.

Yet another one of the diverse attractions in Vegas is the Aquarium at the Silverton Hotel and Casino’s. Totally free to get into it features saltwater and freshwater fish in their natural habitats. Everyone is sure to enjoy this exotic attraction. Educational, fun and free. Does it get any better for a family attraction? I don’t think so and this kind of opportunity is especially rare in Vegas

The Sirens of Ti is a great pirates show at Treasure Island Casino. Playing daily as the weather allows, this show is great for kids of all ages. With pirates and captains, sea battle and adventures, this exciting show will enthrall everyone. I highly recommend this show, it is my personal favorite while in Vegas.

Free entertainment is often the best entertainment that can be found. You can’t beat the value of it. Even if the things suggested here you think are the most boring things you have ever heard of, hey at least they are free to get into so even if they are super boring, its not costing you anything. Vegas is a very expensive city to visit if you don’t choose your adventures wisely so I highly recommend that you take a look at many of these shows and places to visit and save yourself some money. You can use that money on the tables you know! Have a great trip to Vegas.

The Dan Band Hits Las Vegas Showrooms

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

The Dan Band is the product of actor-singer Finnertys initial fascination with karaoke that spiraled into a new phenomenon. The result is a comedic and captivating performance that has played to sold-out, celebrity-filled crowds night after night. The set list pays homage to a legion of women who know how to take matters into their own hands. Opening with the unforgettable ‘Shoop’ by Salt-n-Pepa, Finnerty and his backup singers — Gene Reed and John Kozeluh — forge through the show with a bevy of classic hits including ‘Ring My Bell’ by Anita Ward, ‘Nasty’ by Janet Jackson, ‘Slave 4 U’ by Britney Spears and ‘Hold On’ by Wilson Phillips.

Finnerty and his band first caught Americas attention as the foul-mouthed wedding singer in the box-office smash ‘Old School’ (performing their now-infamous rendition of ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’).

Outdoor – Off Strip And Theme Weddings In Las Vegas

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

A Las Vegas wedding is not limited to indoors, there are several outdoor, off strip and even themed weddings for just about every couple who plan to get married in style.

You can hold your dream wedding anywhere in the great outdoors of Southern Nevada. Take your pick from any of the rugged or elegant outdoor wedding venues. You can have a mountain wedding without moving mountains. Desert or Mountain weddings such as Valley of Fire, Red Rock Canyon or Mount Charleston are possible with little effort on your part.

If you are the romantic and serene type then you can choose from any of the various wedding locations in Las Vegas. A Gazebo wedding with flowers everywhere would be refreshing especially during summer. Lake Meade or Lake Las Vegas offer beautiful lakeside ceremonies as well as ceremonies on the water in Gondolas or luxurious yachts.

There are countless wedding options available to you. Choose from several themed weddings, from the sweet ones to the wildest.

If you are the fun-loving and adventurous type you can opt for the Harley wedding theme where you and your better half come cruising down the aisle in individual Harleys with matching rock and roll music.. Or if you want something eerie then book a gothic-themed wedding complete with a spooky music coming from a hollow organ, a cemetery gate and you can even have Dracula as your officiating officer. Vampire lovers will have the time of their lives with this theme wedding.

Want something literally out of this world? Choose the space-themed wedding with your favorite Star Wars or Star Trek characters as guests. Or how about saying your wedding vows as the Queen of the Nile with matching sarcophagus and pyramid settings? No less than King Tut can officiate the wedding for you.

If you have ever dreamed of becoming a true blue Royal blood then walk down the aisle as a princess with your court watching you every step of the way,. Or if youre star-struck, get married with celebrity impersonators around you.

There are a lot of Las Vegas wedding themes and you can be as coy or as adventurous as you want to be. The only limit, aside from your imagination of course, is your budget.
